Survive divorce with resources and support.
Divorce is called dissolution, going through divorce means you and your spouse will need to find a way to “dissolve” the marriage assets, debts, and other issues. If you have minor children you will also need to determine how child custody and child support will be handled. If you are unable to reach an agreement together you will need court hearings and/or trials to present each spouses side to a judge who will make a decision for you.
If possible always try to reach an agreement outside court.
Sometimes, issues of substance abuse, mental health, bitterness, domestic violence, or emotional trauma prevent one or both spouses from acting reasonably and court intervention is the only possible option. With the correct approach, utilizing the court process can be incredibly helpful to clarify and balance your divorce issues.
